The government of Timor Leste has announced that it had once again decided to declare 4 full-day additional year-end public sector holidays (Tolerαnsia Pontu iha oras loro-kraik nian), this time on December 24, 26, and 31, 2014, as well as on Friday, January 2, 2015.
As usual (13-Dec-2013, 20-Dec-2012, 26-Nov-2012, 29-Oct-2012, 07-Jul-2012, 03-Jul-2012 and 04-Apr-2012), the Secretariat of State of the Council of Ministers of Timor Leste, states that the aforementioned decision is based on law No.10/2005, which overhauled Timor Leste's public holidays (12-Aug-2005).
The aforementioned additional public holidays in Timor Leste apply to "all employees and agents of the ministries or their dependent services, as well as to the institutes and the integrated agencies indirectly connected to the administration of the State".
