The Venezuelan regulatory body for the banking sector, Sudeban ("Superintendencia de Instituciones del Sector Bancario") has announced that Monday, July 4, 2016, would be another bank holiday in Venezuela, on account of the annual "Día de San Pedro y San Pablo" bank holiday of Venezuela, while Tuesday, July 5, 2016, would be a bank holiday and a public holiday in Venezuela on account of the annual "Día de la Independencia" non-working public holiday of Venezuela.

The aforementioned announcement that Monday, July 4, 2016, would be a bank holiday in Venezuela, on account of the annual "Día de San Pedro y San Pablo", while Tuesday, July 5, 2016, would be a bank holiday and a public holiday in Venezuela on account of the annual "Día de la Independencia" non-working public holiday of Venezuela, is in line with the official list of the dates for the 2016 public holidays and banking holidays in Venezuela as announced last summer by the Sudeban (14-Dec-2015).
