(Posted on Wednesday, May 3, 2017)

The Royal Civil Service Commission of the Government of Bhutan has announced that Friday, May 5, 2017, would be a non-working public holiday throughout Bhutan on the occasion of the upcoming Zhabdrung Kuchoe (Death Anniversary of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, the Unifier of Bhutan), annual Bhutanese non-working public holiday.

The aforementioned declaration of TFriday, May 5, 2017, as a non-working public holiday throughout Bhutan, is in line with the official list of national and regional non-working public holidays in Bhutan for the calendar year 2017, released last autumn (28-Oct-2016) by the Royal Civil Service Commission of the Government of Bhutan.
