Source: Diario Oficial de la Federación (Ciudad de México)

Mexico's Asociación de Bancos de México (ABM) and Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores (CNVB) have jointly issued a communiqué announcing that Monday, February 6, 2017, would be a bank holiday throughout Mexico, on account of the upcoming Constitution Day annual non-working public holiday in Mexico.

The aforementioned announcement that Monday, February 6, 2017, would be a bank holiday throughout Mexico, on account of the upcoming Constitution Day annual non-working public holiday in Mexico ("Con motivo del asueto por el aniversario de la Constitución, la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV) y los bancos permanecerán cerrados este lunes 6 de febrero y retomarán su actividad habitual el martes") is in line with the official list of Mexican 2017 bank holidays ("los días en que las instituciones de crédito deberán cerrar sus puertas y suspender operaciones") which were gazetted in the Diario Oficial de la Federación at the end of last year (21-Dec-2016) and the 2006 changes to Mexico's public holidays legislation (17-Jan-2006).
