Nigerian 2017 Democracy Day Public Holiday

The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, has announced that the Nigerian Federal Government had declared Monday, May 29, 2017, as a non-working public holiday in Nigeria, on account of the 2017 Democracy Day non-working public holiday of Nigeria.

As usual (25-May-2016, 25-May-2015, 22-May-2014, 24-May-2013, 27-Apr-2012, and 24-May-2011), the aforementioned declaration of Monday, May 29, 2017, as a non-working public holiday in Nigeria, was made to correspond to the upcoming annual public holiday for Democracy Day.
