Tunisian 2017 Aïd El Fitr Public Holidays

(Posted on Thursday, June 22, 2017)

Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP)

The government of Tunisia (Présidence du Gouvernement), in conjunction with the "Institut national de météorologie" (INM), has announced that the upcoming Aïd El-Fitr (End of Ramadan) non-working public holidays throughout Tunisia would be observed from Sunday, June 25, until Tuesday, June 27, 2017.

The aforementioned announcement is, once again (01-Jul-2016, 14-Jul-2015 and 22-Jul-2014), in line with the government-released (20-Dec-2016) list of official public holidays in Tunisia for the calendar year 2017, as well as the "Arrêté N°317 du 26 mars 2011", following the various changes announced since the beginning of the Arab revolutions (04-Apr-2011, 18-Mar-2011, and 23-Aug-2011).
