25 Jul 2010 (Office of Prime Minister Organization-Avarua) The government of the Cook Islands has released a list of public holidays for the first part of 2011.
08 Dec 2003 (Government of the Cook Islands) Cook Islands' Prime Minister’s Office chief of staff, Joe Caffery, has released a statement clarifying the list of public holidays in the Cook Islands and the dates on which they are to be observed.

Governing Law: Official public holidays in the Cook Islands are observed on the days prescribed by the Public Holidays Act 1999, as clarified by a notice released by the Prime Minister's Office on December 8, 2003.
When a public holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the holiday is to be observed on the following Monday.
