The Consejo de Gobierno de la Ciudad Autónoma de Melilla has approved the official list of 2014 non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in Spain's autonomous region of Melilla.
As per the aforementioned "Acuerdo de 27 de septiembre de 2013, de la Ciudad Autónoma de Melilla, del Consejo de Gobierno, relativo a la aprobación del Calendario Laboral para el año 2014." (BOME NÚM. 5066), the October 12 annual public holiday that will fall on a Sunday in 2014, will be compensated, once again (2012-10-10) by the inclusion of a public holiday for the Feast of Sacrifice (Pascua del Sacrificio) Muslim public holiday, its date in Melilla having been set to October 4, 2014.
