Indian 2015 Central Government Public Holidays Amended

India's Central Government's Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, has released an amended list of public holidays and restricted holidays to be observed in all the Administrative Offices of the Central Government of India, for the upcoming calendar year 2015.

The aforementioned "F.No.12/5/2014-JCA-2" thus amends the annual list of public holidays and restricted holidays to be observed in all the Administrative Offices of the Central Government of India, for the upcoming calendar year 2015, as announced by India's Central Government's Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, last month (2014-06-07).

As per the "Dopt Orders on Restricted Holiday on the occasion of the Maha Shivratri to be observed on 17.02.2015" (F.No.12/5/2014-JCA-2), the festival of Maha Shivratri which falls during the year 2015 A.D. on 17th February, 2015 (28 Magha, 1936 Saka Era, Tuesday), has been added to Annexure II of last month's OM.
