The Government of Niue has announced non-working public holidays in Niue, on Monday and Tuesday, October 19-20, 2015, on account of the Niuean "41 years of Self Governing".
The aforementioned announcement of Monday and Tuesday, October 19-20, 2015, as non-working public holidays in Niue, on account of the Niue Constitution Day public holiday, is in line with the previously-announced list of the official non-working public holidays in Niue for the calendar year 2015, as announced by the Government of Niue, at the beginning of this year (2015-01-09).
Earlier this summer (2015-07-29), the Government of Niue declared a one-off non-working public holiday in Niue, on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, on account of the Niuean WWI Centenary Memorial Celebration Day, the week before the aforementioned public holidays of Monday and Tuesday, October 19-20, 2015.
