Bolivia's Minister of Labour has issued a communique confirming that the upcoming November 2, Día de los Difuntos, annual public holiday of Bolivia is a compulsory annual non-working public holiday in Bolivia for both the private and public sectors and that it will be observed on Thursday, November 2, 2017.
The aforementioned announcement goes on to state that, as was done on some past occasions (2016-10-26, 2016-08-02 and 2015-12-29), the Bolivian public sector will close-down early on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 1, 2017, but not the private sector.
Just in case, the communique concludes by reminding the population that things go back to normal on November 3 ("El Ministerio de Trabajo, Empleo y Previsión Social a través de la Dirección General de Trabajo, Higiene y Seguridad Ocupacional, recuerda que... y el viernes 3, las actividades laborales son con normalidad").
