Bolivia's Minister of Labour has issued a communique announcing that Wednesday, October 11, 2017, would be a non-working public holiday in Bolivia for Bolivian Women's Day Día de la Mujer Boliviana as a compulsory non-working public holiday in Bolivia for both the private and public sectors.

As usual (10-Oct-2016), the aforementioned announcement ("El Ministerio de Trabajo determinó hoy asueto a todas las mujeres que trabajan en el sector público y privado por el Día de la Mujer Boliviana que se celebra cada 11 de octubre" and "con pleno goce de haberes al 100 por ciento, no debiendo considerarse como permiso o vacación"), refers itself to the Decreto Ley 07352 de 11 de octubre de 1965 and the later Decreto Supremo 17081 de 1979 and is limited to women employees.
