(Posted on Saturday, September 16, 2017)

Egypt’s Prime Minister, Sherif Ismail, has issued a decree declaring Thursday, September 21, 2017, as a non-working official public holiday in Egypt for both the public sector and the private sector on account of the upcoming Hijri 1439 Islamic New Year annual non-working public holiday of Egypt.

The aforementioned announcement of Thursday, September 21, 2017, as a non-working official public holiday in Egypt on account of the upcoming Hijri 1439 Islamic New Year, is in line with the annual list of 2017 bank holidays in Egypt, released earlier this year by (07-Jan-2017), and which corresponds generally to the list of official non-working public holidays.
