A spokesperson for the Ministry of General Administration of the government of Nepal has announced that the government of Nepal had declared Thursday to Saturday, October 19-21, 2017, as a non-working public holidays for the upcoming annual Tihar public holidays of Nepal.
The aforementioned announcement of the declaration of Thursday to Saturday, October 19-21, 2017, as a non-working public holidays for the upcoming annual Tihar public holidays of Nepal, covers the Tihar (Yam Panchak) festival from Laxmi Puja to Bhai Tika, and is in line with the gazetted list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year 2074 (mid-April 2017 to mid-April 2018), released earlier this year (2017-03-25).
