Pakistan 2017 Ashura Public Holidays

The Ministry of the Interior of the Federal Government of Pakistan has announced the dates for the upcoming Ashura (Martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hossain) annual non-working public holiday in Pakistan for the calendar year 2017, as Sunday, October 1, 2017.

The aforementioned announcement that the upcoming Ashura (Martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hossain) annual non-working public holiday in Pakistan for the calendar year 2017, would be on Sunday, October 1, 2017, in line with the Ashura public holidays in Pakistan announced in the "expected dates for public and optional holidays for the calendar year 2017" published by the Government of Pakistan early this year (25-Dec-2016).
