Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte is considering the declaration of a one-off non-working public sector holiday and school holiday in the Philippines on September 21 the date when mass demonstrations are expected.

The aforementioned declaration of a one-off non-working public sector holiday and school holiday in the Philippines, on September 21, would thus amend the list of official public holidays in the Philippines, released last summer (18-Aug-2016), when Rodrigo Duterte signed Proclamation No. 50, s. 2016.
