Following the recent gazetting of the 2018 public holidays in the last of Spain's autonomous regions, the national government of Spain has gazetted its annual list of official national non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in Spain for the upcoming calendar year 2018.

The aforementioned "Resolución de 9 de octubre de 2017, de la Dirección General de Empleo, por la que se publica la relación de fiestas laborales para el año 2018" which was gazetted yesterday (in the BOE-A-2017-11639, Núm. 245, Miércoles 11 de octubre de 2017, Sec. I. Pág. 98992) lists the 2018 nationwide non-working public holidays in Spain is supplemented by 2 additional non-working public holidays declared by each of Spain's autonomous regions (2017-10-08, 2017-09-26, 2017-09-15, 2017-09-14, 2017-09-11, 2017-09-10, 2017-09-08, 2017-09-04, 2017-08-10, 2017-08-09, 2017-07-30, 2017-07-28, 2017-07-24, 2017-07-22, 2017-07-09, 2017-07-08, 2017-06-29, 2017-06-13, 2017-06-11, 2017-06-10, 2017-06-03, 2017-06-02, 2017-05-04, 2017-05-03, 2017-04-26, 2017-04-02, 2017-03-18), as well as 2 municipal non-working public holidays for each municipality.

Despite indications, a few years ago (2013-11-18), that some mid-week public holidays might be moved to adjoin a nearby weekend, as had been raised shortly after the current/preceding government was elected (2012-01-12), no such move was made in 2018, as it was not for the past 2 years (2016-10-09 and 2015-10-23).
