Nicaragua's Ministry of Labor (MITRAB) has announced that government workers will be on extended year-end public holidays from December 24, 2001, until January 2, 2002.
The representative of the Ministerio del Trabajo justified the decision on articles 69 and 76 of Nicaragua's labour code.
