UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair, has said that he would give "careful consideration" to calls for a public holiday should England reach the World Cup Final.
To reach the World Cup finals, the UK has to win against Brazil in the quarter finals on June 20th, and then win against Senegal or Turkey in the semi finals on Sunday the 22nd.
The rumours of such a possibility have been rife, in the wake of the recent 4-day Golden Jubilee public holidays (19-Jun-2001).
