The Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM) has decided that Monday, October 23, 2006, would be observed as a holiday for banks.
The announcement said that this was in line with the government's recent move (05-Oct-2006) declaring Monday, October 23, 2006, as a holiday for the public sector in conjunction with the twin Deepavali and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
