In its Gazette 28637, Notice244, of March 17, the Department of Education of South Africa has announced the dates of the special one-off bridge holidays for schools, for 2007 and 2008.
These one-off school holidays are usually adjoined to a Tuesday or Thursday public holiday, and are not to be confused with school terms and vacations.

South African 2007-2008 Public Holidays Announced
