A group of prominent Chilean visual artists plans to send a formal request to Parliament, to make March 9 a public holiday to commemorate the disappearance, 93 years ago, of Alejandro Bello Silva.
Alejandro Bello Silva, better known as el perdido Teniente Bello, whose plane disappeared while flying solo from Santiago to Carthagena in 1914, is often compared to France's Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
