At this week's EXCO meeting, the Falkland Islands government confirmed that Friday, June 15, 2007, would be a one-off public holiday/non-working day in the Falkland Islands to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Liberation of the Falklands from Argentine occupation.
Recall that the day before, Thursday, June 14, 2007, is the annual, Liberation Day, public holiday.
