During a recent radio interview, the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Juncker, proposed that May 9th be made an annual public holiday throughout Europe. Jean-Claude Juncker, is considered German Chancellor Angela Merkel's favorite candidate for the newly created office of president of the European Council.
