The governments of the States of Haryana, Punjab and Tamil Nadu, have declared a public holiday for tomorrow, Friday, September 4, 2009, as a mark of respect to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajashekhara Reddy who died in a helicopter crash yesterday.
Oddly enough, the Andhra Pradesh State Government announced five days of mourning for Chief Minister Rajasekhara Reddy, but no public holiday.
The Karnataka Government declared a holiday for all schools, colleges, educational institutions and government offices on Friday, September 4, 2009.
