The government of India's State of Haryana has declared a public holiday on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, in all the State Government offices including those of Boards, Corporations and Educational Institutions following this morning's death of Rao Birender Singh, the former Chief Minister of Haryana.
The Haryana Government also declared three days of state mourning, from Wednesday, September 30, to Friday, October 2, 2009. Note that October 2nd is a national public holiday in India.
