The Vice-Chairman of Bangladesh's National Moon Sighting Committee, Kazi Habibul Awal, has announced that the Moon of Muharram was not sighted last night.
The aforementioned announcement means that the upcoming Ashura public holiday will be observed across Bangladesh on Friday, December 17, 2010, as was tentatively announced late last year (23-Nov-2009).
