Kuwait's Undersecretary at the Civil Service Commission (CSC), Mohammed Al-Roumi, has announced that Sunday, January 2, 2011, would be an official non-working public holiday.
A similar day in lieu public holiday was declared last year (17-Dec-2009) when the Gregorian New Year public holiday also fell on a weekend (04-Aug-2007).
