The head of Kuwait's Civil Service commission, Abdul Aziz Al Zibin, has announced that Tuesday, December 7, 2010, would be a non-working public holiday on account of the Islamic new year of Hijri 1432.
Following the recent announcement of Gregorian New Year public holidays (26-Nov-2010), there had been speculation that additional public holidays would be moved to the previous Sunday, to create an extended weekend.
