Nepalese Minister for Information and Communications, Shankar Pokharel, has announced that the government had decided to grant a public holiday for Madhesi women on the occasion of the upcoming Tijiya festival.
The decision to declare a on September 30 sectorial public holiday was taken at today's cabinet meeting of the caretaker government held at Singha Durbar.
