Nicaragua's Ministerio del Trabajo (Mitrab) has declared a general public holiday for the afternoon of Tuesday, December 7, 2010, beginning at 13:00 (1pm).
Note that, contrary to previous years (21-Nov-2009 and 06-Nov-2008), this year's December 7 public holiday is a general public holiday and is not limited to government employees (tomando en cuenta la tradición de la mayoría del pueblo de celebrar La Purísima).
