UAE Declares Public Holidays For Sheikh Saqr

Following the death of Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, public sector holidays of various durations have been declared in parts of the UAE.

Specifically, government offices in Ras Al Khaimah will be closed for a week from today. In addition, government offices in Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah will be closed for three days, beginning today, while government offices in Sharjah will remain closed for three days, beginning tomorrow, Thursday.

In all cases, no public holidays have been declared for the private sector.
