The government of Nepal has declared Tuesday, November 1, 2011, as a non-working public holiday on account of the upcoming Chhath Parva festival.
This year's Chhath Parva festival, which started today, will last until Wednesday, November 2, 2011, inclusively.
Note that the Mayor of Delhi in India's Capital Territory, Rajni Abbi, recently for the first time announced that Tuesday, November 1, 2011, would be a non-working public holiday in Delhi on the occasion of the upcoming Chhat festival (22-Oct-2011).
