The government of Nigeria's Oyo State has declared tomorrow Friday, April 1, 2011, as a one-off public holiday to enable prospective voters that may need to travel for the purpose of casting their votes to do so.
The aforementioned announcement was contained in a release signed by the Secretary to the State Governmemt, Olayiwola Olakojo.
A similar public holiday was delared by the Imo State.
