Nigeria Declares May 30 Public Holidays

The Nigerian Minister of Labour and Supervising Minister of Interior, Chief Emeka Wogu, has announced that the federal government of Nigeria had declared Monday, May 30, 2011, as a double work-free public holiday.

As per the aforementioned announcement, Monday, May 30, 2011, will be a work-free public holiday on account of the annual, May 29, Democracy Day public holiday, falling on a Sunday, and also to mark the upcoming Presidential inauguration ceremonies.
