Omani authorities have announced the dates of the upcoming Eid al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holidays for the private sector, the public sector, and the banking and financial sectors of Oman for the calendar year 2011.
As per a decision by Oman's Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Chairman of the Civil Service Council, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud al Busaidy, the Eid al Adha public sector holidays for employees at ministries, public authorities and other government departments will run from from Saturday, November 5, to Wednesday, November 9, 2011, inclusively.
