The National Moon-Sighting Commission of Sénégal (Commission nationale de concertation sur le croissant lunaire - Conacoc) has announced that the upcoming Tabaski (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday would be on Monday, November 7, 2011.
As was often the case (30-Aug-2011 and 18-Dec-2007), we can expect many Senegalese Muslim communities, such as the Jamaatou Ibadou Rahamna, not to follow the recommendations of the CONACOC and instead follow the dates as announced by Saudi Arabia (29-Oct-2011).
