Sierra Leone's Acting Minister of Information and Communications, Sheka Tarawalie, has issued a statement ruling-out the rumours that Friday, November 11, 2011, would soon be declared a one-off non-working public holiday in Sierra Leone.
The aforementioned rumours had been based on the sequence of digits 1 in the date 11-11-11, being touted as "a unique day in history, a unique day in the history of our world".
