At an extraordinary meeting of the cabinet of the government of Thailand, last night, the cabinet rejected a proposal to extend the duration of the current flood relief regional public holidays
At the beginning of last week (25-Oct-2011), the Cabinet of the government of Thailand declared a 5-day public holidays, in Bangkok and to 20 other provinces, from Thursday to Monday October 27 to 31, 2011, to allow Bangkok residents to handle the flood situation during the upcoming weekend high tide period.
