The government of Djibouti has released the official list of non-working public holidays, and their duration, for the calendar year 2012 in Djibouti.
As usual (26-Dec-2005), the aforementioned list of official Djibouti public holidays follows the outlines of the "arrêté n° 77-347/PR/MI du 4.10.1977 règlementant les jours fériés, chômés et payés en République de Djibouti" with the addition of the Christmas Day public holiday ("Arrêté n° 77-609/PR/CAB portant additif à l'arrêté n°77-0347/INT/AA du 04 octobre 1977, réglementant les jours fériés chômés et payés en République de Djibouti") having been subsequently cancelled ("Arrêté n°80-0931/PR portant rectificatif de l'arrêté n° 77-347/PR/MI du 4.10.1977 règlementant les jours fériés, chômés et payés en République de Djibouti").
However, a novelty in 2012 seems to be that Djibouti has abandonned the Libyan LCRSS Muslim calendar to determine the dates of Muslim non-working public holidays in Djibouti, in favor of the more consensual Saudi Umm al-Qora Muslim calendar.
