Iraq's Babylon governorate Council has announced that it had decided to declare Wednesday and Thursday, January 11 and 12, 2012, as a non-working provincial public holiday.
Similar regional public holidays declarations are common in Iraq (01-Aug-2011, 17-Mar-2011, and 10-Mar-2011).
