Mali's Government has released the official list of non-working public holidays in Mali for the calendar year 2012.
The aforementioned announcement follows the "Loi No.05-40 du 22 juillet 2005 relative aux fêtes légales en République du Mali" which overhauled Mali's list of official non-working public holidays, six years ago (12-Sep-2005 and 04-Jul-2005), most notably by adding a non-working public holiday for the Prophet's Baptism, thus making Mali the only country in the world to mark this date as a public holiday.
