The Legislative Assembly of Pakistan's Province of Sindh, has approved a resolution calling upon the provincial government to declare January 10 as an annual non-working public holiday on the anniversary of the death of Shah Mardan Shah Pir Pagara.
Last week (11-Jan-2012), the Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, had declared a one-off regional public holiday on Thursday, January 12, 2012, on the occasion of the funeral of Pir Saheb Pagaro.
