The Government of Rwanda has released the full list of official non-working public holidays in Rwanda for the calendar year 2012.
The aforementioned announcement of the list of official non-working public holidays in Rwanda for the calendar year 2012 is in line with last year's "Arrêté Presidentiel N°06/01 Du 16/02/2011 Determinant Les Jours Feries Officiels" which overhauled the list of Rwandan non-working public holidays (07-Mar-2011).
As per that Arrêté, the date of the Eid el Fitr is to be announced each year by Rwanda Moslems' Association ("Itariki itangazwa buri mwaka na Rwanda Moslems’ Association") and today's release sets the date of the 2012 Eid-El-Fitr (End of Ramadan) non-working public holiday in Rwanda as Monday, August 20, 2012.
