Taiwan's financial authorities have confirmed that they would follow last summer's announcement by the government of Taiwan of the shifting of the Saturday, February 4, 2012, non-working weekly holiday to Friday, January 27, 2012.
As per the aforementioned announcement, the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), the GreTai Securities Market (OTC Market), the Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC) and the Central Bank of the Republic of China (CBC) will be closed on Friday, January 27, 2012, and open on Saturday, February 4, 2012, as per last September's (29-Sep-2011) announcement of the list of 2012 public holidays published by the Taiwan's Central Personnel Administration (CPA).
