Summary: Private sector gets the same holidays as public sector; according to a decision by Dr. Ali Bin Abdullah Al Ka'abi, Minister of Labour, private sector employees will get a four-day holiday from Friday, December 29 to Monday, January 1 to mark Eid Al Adha and the New Year.
Work will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2007.
