Zambia Declares September 28 Tripartite Elections Public Holiday

Source: AllAfrica.com - Summary: In accordance with the Public Holidays Act, Volume 15 Cap. 272, the government has declared September 28 a public holiday, to enable as many Zambians as possible to cast their votes in the tripartite elections.


The Statutory Instrument number 94 was published on August 18, 2006 and was signed by President Mwanawasa on the ninth of September.
