Bangladesh Declares March 29 Electoral Public Holiday

The government Bangladesh has declared Tuesday, March 29, 2011, as a one-off public holiday on account of the upcoming Union Parishad elections.
These elections and the aforementioned regional public holiday will apply to the 187 unions of 24 Upazilas in the Khulna, Chittagong and Barisal divisions.
This is the third regional one-off public holiday declared by the government Bangladesh in less than 6 weeks (2011-03-02 and 2011-02-14).
