Kuwait 1433 Hijra Public Holidays Announced

Kuwait's Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Ali Al-Rashid, has announced that the Kuwaiti Cabinet had decided to declare Saturday and Sunday, November 26 and 27, 2011, as non-working public holidays at all ministries and state departments on account of the upcoming Hijra New Year 1433.

As per the aforementioned statement, the Kuwaiti Cabinet decided to declare Sunday, November 27, 2011, as a non-working public holiday, as the actual date of the Hijra New Year is Saturday, November 26, 2011, which is already one of the weekly days-off (ie. weekends).
