Omani authorities, to writ Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Chairman of the Civil Service Council, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bakri, Minister of Manpower, have once again announced similar dates of the upcoming 2015 Eid Al Fitr (End of Ramadan) and Blessed Renaissance Day non-working public holidays in Oman, for the public sector and the private sector of Oman.
As per the aforementioned Royal Order "On the occasion of the blessed Eid Al Fitr 1436 AH, the Eid holiday for employees working at the ministries, public authorities and other departments of the State's Administrative Apparatus and private sector will be from Thursday, 29th Ramadan 1436 AH corresponding to July 16, 2015 until Monday, July 20, 2015. Work will resume on Tuesday, July 21, 2015." while, in a separate announcement, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi and Shaikh Abdullah bin Nassir Al Bakri jointly declared Thursday, July 23, 2015, as an official non-working holiday in Oman, also "for employees at ministries, public authorities and other departments of the state's administrative apparatus and the private sector companies and establishments" on account of the upcoming annual Blessed Renaissance Day non-working public holiday of Oman.
The Omani Blessed Renaissance Day public holiday is sometimes (2014-07-21, 2010-07-20, 2009-07-22, and 2008-07-20), but not always (2013-07-17, 2012-07-15 and 2011-07-17), moved from its set annual date of July 23.
